Having a healthy mouth is so much more important than just a pretty smile, it also affects your overall health and wellness too. I am pretty hard on my kids about their dental hygiene because I am afraid that they have inherited some bad teeth genes from my side of the family. Each of the kids had their first check up of the year a few weeks ago and although we had some pretty good news, it looked like our middle daughter needed a couple little fillings but nothing a quick visit last week couldn’t fix.
One thing we were missing in our routine was oral rinse. For one, I wasn’t sure if my kids were old enough for it and two, I was never happy with the list of ingredients and dyes in all of the rinses I saw at the store. Seriously, why is an oral rinse blue or pink or green? And have you ever noticed that some have SUGAR in them?
Dental care is expensive and painful so since finding out that starting at 6-years-old, kids can use oral rinse I went on the lookout for the perfect rinse that both my older two could use. Then I discovered TheraBreath For Kids! and it checked all the boxes. It’s a new Anti-Cavity rinse made for KIDS but not a new company what so ever. TheraBreath has actually been around for more than 20 years and has been voted Best Mouthwash of the Year for the last 2 years, based on over 390,000 reviews!
After they’ve brushed their teeth and flossed it’s time for the new part of their twice daily routine. They’ve had absolutely no problem introducing TheraBreath for Kids! Oral Rinse because as I’ve heard it tastes great and doesn’t sting their mouthes. TheraBreath for Kids! Oral Rinse is made from organic GRAPES and sweetened w/ touch of Xylitol (a natural non-sugar sweetener w/ proven oral health benefits) so you can bet that kids love it. TheraBreath Kids! Oral Rinse is also free from artificial dyes, flavors, and colors, and even gluten free.
Rather than masking bad breath with heavy flavors, TheraBreath products actually attack the germs that cause bad breath. Whether they are getting for their day or ready for bed, they’re arming themselves with the good dental tools to have the best hygiene possible.
Now that we’ve introduced oral rinse, I’m hoping I see some improvement with my daughter’s teeth and continue to see great things from my oldest. She’s getting braces next month so her teeth need to stay in tip top shape during the 24 months of treatment.
