If you follow any of my social media accounts you will see that I just came back from a fun-filled trip with one of my favorite brands – Kia. I’ve reviewed Kia vehicles in the past so when my husband had to buy a new car in 2014 our first choice was Kia. He ended up choosing a used Forte and she has been well loved and in perfect condition for the past two years. The 2017 Forta has gotten a face-lift along with the other 12 models Kia makes. Each one was even prettier in person.
As a voice on the internet, working with your Dream Brand is well… a dream. I’ve had many chances to work with Kia for reviews but when I received an invitation to San Diego for a Ride & Drive Event to discover #TheNewKia, I’m sure you could imagine my excitement. I didn’t even bother asking my husband if would be able to take the time off. Glad that worked out for me, haha.

They are my favorite for a reason and clearly a favorite of everyone else. Working with Kia has always brought me so much joy so now that we own a Kia I’m even more proud to represent a brand that I not only love but also use on a daily basis. A brand I can stand behind and talk about truthfully.
This handsome fella is set to hit the market later this year. It is a “Premium Sedan” and you get all the finishes you would expect from that category. The Cadenza can go toe-to-toe with the Lexus ES, Acura TLX, or Nissan Maxima. The crisp edges and masculine form is a sight for sore eyes and one I cannot wait to drive.
The Niro is Kia’s first-ever, dedicated hybrid vehicle and the FIRST EVER Hybrid Utility Vehicle on the market. The Niro was built from the ground up to be a dedicated vehicle on a dedicated eco platform. Meaning everything from the architecture, the powertrain, the technology… everything was designed to be eco-friendly. There will be two configurations: a hybrid (gas and battery) and a plug-in hybrid (battery only). It’s a no-compromise solution to style, function, utility, and high efficiency. Don’t think of this has the Kia version of a Prius. You won’t get that jolty, sloppy rough drive. It looks great and drives great with a duel-clutch transmission. I’m so excited to experience this vehicle and see if it’s the answer to my eco-friendly dreams. I just hope that it has the growing leaves like the Optima Hybrid. haha.
I had such a fun time on this trip that I could only hope my connection with Kia continues. When you want to work with a brand just keep pushing for it. Because when it happens…. *MIND BLOWN*
