Disclosure: I was invited as a member of the media to Busch Gardens for this coverage. No monetary compensation was received.
From June 27 through Aug. 16, the thrills come out night at Busch Gardens during Summer Nights. Thrill seekers can challenge North America’s tallest freestanding drop tower Falcon’s Fury® and Florida’s first triple-launch coaster Cheetah Hunt® in the DARK. NEW in 2015, Busch Gardens is open until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays throughout Summer Nights!
DJ booths are set all over Busch Gardens to keep the fun going no matter where you are. Of course whenever we passed one my daughter had to stop and bust a move even with a drink in her hand.
The award-winning Kinetix show returns to Summer Nights with its rock-fueled blast of music and acrobatics every night. Their performance, along with modern music and pyrotechnic effects, will heat up the crowd in Gwazi Park at 9 p.m. Gates open at 8 p.m., so arrive early to ensure a good spot and enjoy the Party Starters’ pre-show interactive games and dancing; everyone is invited to participate in the fun! My daughter had a blast playing limbo and dancing to favorites like Cupid Shuffle, and Oppa Gangnam Style.
Experience live musicians, singers, dancers and artists from around the world. The aerialists and acrobats are so thrilling to watch. I was on the edge my seat holding my breath with every stunt they performed.
Immediately following Kinetix are the grand finale fireworks of the night. The fireworks can be seen from anywhere in the park but the best views are in Gwazi Park so sit back and celebrate with an amazing fireworks show as Busch Gardens lights up the sky every night of the event with an incredible aerial display set to popular music.
