We all have busy lives, right? Between school sport practices, grocery shopping, trips to the bank, going to and from school drop off, maybe even you work outside of the home, plus any other errands that may need to get done. Live is hectic and it seems that there is always someone who is hungry. It never fails that as soon as we leave the house I hear, “Mommy, I’m hungry!” Kids sure do have perfect timing, don’t they?
My options are to swing into a gas station, go to a drive-thru, or bring snacks from home. Bringing snacks from home is the obvious thing to do. Lately, our new favorite snack is Jif To Go Dippers. Jif has paired up their classic Creamy Peanut Butter with Pretzels or you can indulge in their Chocolate Silk Peanut Butter Spread with Pretzels variety. They both come in cute single serving size containers which fit perfectly into my van’s cup holders. The peanut butter and chocolate silk comes in a smaller container that is actually the perfect amount but I do wish they would add more pretzels to the container, or just make a smaller container because they are only filled about half way. That’s just wasted space and plastic but with the label cover the container you can’t see how filled it is until it’s opened.
Bringing Jif To Go Dippers out when we’re at a theme park or other local place is really handy too. They are small enough to toss into the diaper bag and when we need a little pick me up, they are there ready to go. Like when we go to Downtown Disney, it’s a great place to go because the girls love to play in the mickey-shaped fountain.
Anything Disney related you are looking to spend some money but not if you’re smart like I am. Bring your own snacks like Jif To Go Dippers then when the kids are tired from all the running around they can snack on tasty peanut butter and pretzels until they are ready for more fun. Of course I have to bring one for myself too.
I don’t think we could ever pick a favorite between the two varieties but maybe, just maybe the chocolate silk peanut butter wins the race just slightly because, well, chocolate!

Jif To Go Dippers are available at grocery stores nation wide but prices will vary from store to store and even location to location. I found them for $1.79 at my usual Super Target, then found them for $1.39 at another Super Target just 10 minutes away. And they were $1.59 at Publix. So definitely shop around to get the best deal!
Do your kids always want to snack while you’re on the go?
