Disclosure: I partnered with VSP Vision Care for today’s post. All opinions are my own, and may differ from yours.
I’ve been wearing glasses since I was about 7 or 8 years old. It’s second nature to me. Sometimes I wear contacts if I know I’ll be going in the pool or at the beach that day but it’s annoying to have to put them in. Plus, I always think about the cost of contacts, in my brain if I wear my daily contacts that’s “money down the drain” when I throw them away at the end of the day.
Since both my husband and I need corrective lenses I kind of believe it’s only a matter of time before one of my kids will need glasses too. I make sure I stay on top of my girl’s bi-yearly checkups because I would hate for them to need glasses and we didn’t find out soon enough. That being said, that doesn’t mean we’re ready for the cost of vision care if does come up.

Your style is an extension of your personality, and your glasses can help accentuate this. Finding a frame that fits your face shape and showcases your individual style isn’t the easiest task. SeeMuchMore.com also has a great pdf file that canhelp you find the perfect frames for your face shape and style. Style experts from bebe and Nike Vision share the latest frame trends for this season for both men and women.
- Think Color – Add some color to your collection this fall. These lavender, retro frames from bebe can be worn casually or dressed up for any occasion. Cat-eye glasses are best for faces with a narrow forehead that widens at the cheeks and chin, as well as diamond-shaped faces that are narrow at the eyes and jawline and have broad cheekbones.
- No Way ‘Round It – These classic-styled, round bebe frames provide a light and comfortable fit. For those who have a base-down, triangular face with a narrow forehead that widens at the cheek and chin areas, these frames will look fantastic. Because of their shape and a hint of color in the inside frame, they add width and emphasize the narrow upper third of the face. Though the inside coloring is subtle, those with green eyes will notice that these frames make their eyes pop.
- Get Glam – These tonal colored frames from bebe are great for an everyday fall look. The frame features baguette stone detailing on the temples that make for a chic aesthetic. The lenses are a great option for those with an oval face shape as they balance all facial proportions. Brown-eyed girls may also gravitate toward these frames to highlight their eye color.
