If you know me, or follow me (on Instagram) then you know I love my Keurig. I’ve even taken it on trips with me. I was so upset recently on my trip to Los Angeles because a Keurig was in my hotel room but they wanted me to pay $3.50 PER K-Cup! I wish I just brought my own K-Cups because the machine was haunting me the whole trip. I digress.
I am seriously crazy so I even drink hot chocolate during our ridiculously hot summer months just so I can use my Keurig. What’s this about new Brew Over Ice K-Cups though? I heard they’d be at BlogHer13 and I about flipped. Then I got asked to be a Brew Over Ice Ambassador and I literally did a flip.
The Keurig Brew Over Ice booth was always hoppin’ during BlogHer13 and there wasn’t ever a question as to why. Keurig had a welcoming open display and offered to quench our thirst after walking around the expo hall all day.
So you’ve brewed your K-Cups over ice before and they were fine, right? Wrong. That is what makes Brew Over Ice special – each Brew Over Ice K-Cup has been specially formulated and filled a bit more, to brew a stronger cup, so it will be just right once it hits the ice and it melts! No more watered down drinks. Just simply look for the Brew Over Ice seal on your favorite brands: Green Mountain Coffee®, Snapple®, The Original Donut Shop™, Vitamin Burst® and much, much more.

Keurig B70 Platinum
I was sent Keurig B70 Platinum Brewing System and a variety of Brew Over Ice K-Cups to try out when I got back from BlogHer13. I was in withdraws from sweet tea while in Chicago so that’s all I tried up there but I was excited to be able to taste different teas and coffees once I was home.
New features on the B70 Platinum is an easy fill lid on the water reservoir tank and a water filter inside the reservoir tank that lasts for 2 months.
Brewing is easy (once you decide on your drink of choice):
Just fill a 16 oz. cup (do not use glass) to the top with ice.
Insert your favorite Brew Over Ice pack.
Press the 6 oz. or 8 oz. brew button for optimal flavor. 5 cup size options!
Stir (to really make the ice cool it all down) and enjoy!
My favorites (besides the Celestial Seasonings – Southern Sweet tea) were the Naturals Lemonade, Donut Shop – Sweet & Creamy Ice Coffee, and Vitamin Burst – Strawberry Pomegranate.
I have found a new love for my Keurig with the Brew Over Ice varieties and I know you will too. You can purchase K-Cups online or in most grocery retailers such as Super Target and Walmart Superstores.
