It’s back to school time around these parts so of course that means shopping. Makenna loves to shop and she’s already to the age where mom can’t pick out her clothes anymore, and that includes her undergarments.
We are in a school district that requires uniforms and while I like her to wear the uniform it can be hard to find her size since everyone is buying the same thing around the same time of year. I often head to Walmart because typically they have a great stock of uniform options there.
The main reason for our trip to Walmart today was to get Makenna some new underwear. I don’t know about your kids but my daughter goes through underwear like nobody’s business. So after finding new polo shirts, dresses, and pants we spotted a big Fruit of the Loom display to find her underwear.
There were so many choices for Makenna to choose from. Before now I would always pick out what she wore so she had no idea what Bikini, Hipsters, Boy Shorts, or Briefs meant. Thankfully Fruit of the Loom has a picture on the package of the shape of the panty so while explaining how each would fit on her body she could look at the picture for reference.
She ended up choosing the Hipsters but then it was time to choose the colors and patterns she wanted. That was a section process that took a good 10 minutes because Fruit of the Loom gives girls so many choices to choose from (I love that).
The shopping process for Makenna to personally pick out her first pack of panties was really fun for us. I really love that Fruit of the Loom gives girls so many options of fit, style and color. Every though they won’t be seen it’s always nice to wear something that you love. Since our shopping trip Makenna has shown her dad, and both grandma’s her new panties because she’s so proud of them. I laugh each time but it’s really special that she’s happy about something she picked out.
Right now Fruit of the Loom as bonus packs so we paid for 9 panties (for about $6) but got 12! My daughter already has a drawer full of Fruit of the Loom panties but I especially like the new ones we found because they have a thicker band across the waist and legs which is softer and more comfortable.
While you’re throwing in all those pens, crayons, and pencils into your cart don’t forget that your child(ren) also need new undergarments and Fruit of the Loom is your best bet. Great selection at great prices and you can’t beat that. You can find Fruit of the Loom at Walmart stores near you.
