Living in the heart of Central Florida gives us a lot of fun and interesting things to do as a family but we often find ourselves doing the same old things – theme park, theme park, theme park.
Last week we were invited to visit AirHeads USA and I was surprised to hear that they have been open for a year. That just made me realize that we need to open our eyes and notice what this beautiful city has to offer. But back to AirHeads USA.
AirHeads USA is an indoor trampoline arena complete with a cafe and arcade area that the whole family will love.
Simply strap on the helmet and jumping shoes provided by AirHeads and you’re ready for an hour of aerial cardio action. The bounce-intensive surface promotes ever-increasing hang-time increments in a low-impact workout that lets the joints off easy but puts lower-body muscles through rigorous training. All that bouncing is also intensely aerobic and much better for your lungs than underwater body-building competitions. If you’ve had enough free-floating fitness, join a bouncing band of ball dodgers at one of AirHeads’ pick-up trampoline-dodgeball games. After gallumphing up an appetite or intense skeeball craving, head to the AirCafé or AirCade for fresh fare and fair games.
In simple terms: Bouncing at AirHeads USA gets your heart pumping in a good way. I braved the madness out there along with a few other bloggers and I lost my breath after just a few minutes. It was so fun but wow, so intense.
Bouncing is for all ages although the smallest shoe size they have is a Boys size 1. If you don’t fit into their shoes you can wear your own but the shoes they provide will give you maximum jumpability.
There are 3 locations in Florida: Orlando, Tampa, and Clearwater/St. Pete so no matter where your travels take you in Central Florida you can experience the fun of AirHeads USA. We had such a fun time bouncing, playing dodgeball, and basketball that we’ll definitely come back.
