Pottery Barn Teen – Jet-Set Damask Rolling Duffle Bag review (and Giveaway!)

It’s a known fact: I am an over-packer for trips. I don’t even know why seeing as I usually don’t wear over half the things I pack. Recently, my 3 day, 2 night trip to Chicago I brought along my new Pottery Barn Teen Jet-Set Damask Rolling Duffle since it was oversized enough to carry all the things I just knew I would need. I packed 4 pairs of shoes, 5 shirts, 6 sweaters, 3 PJ pants, 4 shirts for sleeping in, 5 bras, ect. Why all the clothes? I have no idea. The point is that I pack a lot and I need a big luggage bag to accomadate me.

The oversized back has a pull-out handle and 2 wheels so you can stroll it around the airport with ease. Just saying this bag is oversized might be an understatement. It’s HUGE! My 8-year-old decided she wanted to show you just how much can fit into the bag. Now I should tell you that I could have zipped it up and she wouldn’t even have to lay down flat for that to happen. In her current position the duffle was able to pull up over her head and zip closed without any pull or resistance. Plus, there is a ton of space next to her for clothes or….

Or another kid! Yep, both my 8-year-old and my 2 1/2-year-old can fit nicely into the Jet-Set Damask Rolling Duffle without any issues AND it would have zipped up! My only issue with all this space is you cannot expect to put your stuff in the bag nicely and have it come our the same way.  Once you stand the bag up to roll it around everything falls down to the bottom. I guess that’s to be expected though. The only way I can see getting around this is to jam pack the bag with as much as you can BUT because the bag has so much space that might make you go over the 50lb weight limit. So… what I’m saying is just deal with your clothes falling down. This bag is amazing.

I received so many compliments on the bag from checking my bag to getting it at baggage claim and on the way home. In the picture below you see a pattern on the back of the bag but I assure you that’s just because of my camera. The back is a plain black.
