Now as an adult and almost *gasp* into my 30′s (did I really just admit that?) my skin has definitely changed. It feels like every other day I find myself buying a new product to keep my skin at bay. I couldn’t possibly list all the body wash brands I’ve tried but the brand currently in my shower is Bath and Body Works. I buy and use it mainly for the smell but I was never really wow’d by the body wash itself. Dove is a brand I have used in the past so I was excited to hear that they have a new formula and that they wanted me to be a Dove Mom Ambassador!
While I was truly excited about the new formula it also made me nervous. So often brands “improve” their formula only to find out I actually preferred the old way they did things. My first impressions after using Dove Deep Moisture for a few weeks now has reminded me why I loved Dove in the first place. Dove Body Washes has actually improved their formula by combining the brand’s mildest cleansers with NutriumMoisture. The new formula contains 100% natural moisturizers that skin can absorb, keeping your skin smooth and nourished.
I found that the body wash is really thick and lathers up like a bar of soap would but it rinses clean without me having to scrub the soap off afterwards. The Bath and Body Works soap I was using didn’t really lather, it just made a lot of suds. I thought suds were a sign that I was lathering it up good but now I know that’s not the case.
This is due to the Glycinate ingredient Dove added, which is generally found in high-end body washes! This ingredient allows the Dove body wash to perform and lather better than ever while still providing a gentle moisture that your skin is sure to love!
After weeks dealing with unusually freezing temperatures here in Florida and a trip to the cold tundra (otherwise known as Chicago, lol) my skin still feels hydrated and extraordinarily smooth. My husband even commented on it asking what I was doing different. I am so very happy with my experience with Dove so I can’t wait to come back to talk more about them in the coming weeks.

I grew up with my mother using Dove so not only does it bring back beautiful memories but I also admire that they use models of all shapes, sizes, and colors in their campaigns!
