A lot of things happen for me and my blog and I am so very grateful for the opportunities but the reality is that I’m just a little blogger in this HUGE ocean. Well in November this little fishy heard about a contest to be a Reynolds Real Mom (ya know… Reynolds Wrap, slow cooker liners, foil. Yeah THAT Reynolds). The goal was to find real moms who use Reynolds products in their every day lives to make their life easier. That was definitely me but could I actually win? I entered and forgot about it.

Then I started getting word that finalists were being chosen. I didn’t hear anything in my email except crickets but I was so happy for the bloggers I knew that were chosen and wasn’t too surprised I didn’t get chosen (glass half empty type girl here). Then last week my life changed! I was having a normal morning – my husband was sleeping in (it was about 11am) as usual while I was doing everything else around the house. I had been trying to wake him up for the past 2 hours so at this point I was getting irritated. I got online and saw the REYNOLDS REAL MOM FINALIST email. I thought, “What? No way!” but it was true!

I was one of ten finalists in the Reynolds Real Moms contest!!!! *Happy dance*

I didn’t quite understand what that meant but let me tell you, the past week has been hard. To give you a little insight: when you see people on TV making the show or commercial or cooking show and it looks sooo easy; well it’s not. It’s not easy at all!

So today. I am flying to Chicago and them tomorrowI’ll be doing a photo shoot and to film some promotional content (thank god someone will be there to do my hair and makeup) and meet the other finalists!

I got more good news though! I also win a year’s supply of Reynolds products AND get to give one of my blog readers a 6 month’s supply!! Who couldn’t use that?! So stay tuned for that contest…it will be coming up shortly.

This is not the end though. Chicago is just the whining though because I’ll be competing to get further in the Reynold’s Real Moms contest because 10 will be eventually brought down to 5 and you’ll be involved with that… But I’ll talk about that later.
