Contours Classique 3-in-1 Bassinet Review & Giveaway

When you find out your pregnant one of the first things you may begin to think of is where that precious bundle is going to sleep. Even with a crib, most mamas can’t stand the thought of having their babe sleep in another room where they can’t keep an extra close eye on them.

That’s where Contours can help. With their Classique 3-in-1 Bassinet you can be sure baby can go and be wherever you are. I was sent the Blossom print but there is also a more neutral beige tone called “Orion”.

The Classique 3-in-1 Bassinet gives baby a secure sleeping space while keeping baby close to you during the early months. Mom will love the classic style that will look great in any room. Removable moses basket allows you to take baby anywhere in your home. Recommended for babies up to 15 pounds or about 3 months old so it’s perfect when baby is itty-bitty.

Assembling the frame took about 30 minutes and it did take two of us to put it together. But all in all, it was pretty easy and I loved the detailed instructions (in black and white) that were complete with pictures and all.

Changing table securely attaches on top of bassinet rails and then just flip is upside down and it conveniently stores under the bassinet when not in use. Use of the changing table is recommended for up to 25lbs. A simple, elegant skirt covers up the baby changing table shelf when it’s set below, giving a pleasing, clean look to the whole piece of furniture.

While the bassinet has a great plush mattress pad, the changing table doesn’t. It’s okay but I would like to see a bigger padding that covers the entire changing space and something a little more plush for baby. and while I understand the material they used for the changing table so stool and urine can be easily cleaned off, I feel as if it would be cold on baby’s bottom so I’d definitely suggest laying a blanket down.

The Classique 3-in-1 Bassinet has great wheels that allow the bassinet to easily roll, even on plush carpet, and lock when you get to the room you need to be in.

Quilted and padded interior with mesh side window gives increased air flow. The fabric on the bassinet is also removable and washable for all the baby accidents that are bound to happen.

Besides a lovely bassinet and convenient changing table, the Classique 3-in-1 Bassinet is also a moses basket as I’ve already talked about! The “basket” is easily lifted out to take along with you for traveling. You could even use this to keep baby in the same room as you during the day hours.
