When I was asked to review the new app called Listen Up! I wasn’t too sure what I would be getting myselt into but never one to turn down a fun game I jumped on it. I quickly found Listen Up! and Listen Up Lite in the Apple app store and downloaded it for free.
Since it was nap time for Kendall I had some free time so after Listen Up! I opened it up. TO get started I had to make a free account. It was easy – just a user name was required. I’m not really a tutorial kind of gal so I just started a game with a random person who also has an account. That’s the fun thing, you can link up your Facebook account to play with your friends or you can tell Listen Up! to find a player for you.
So what is Listen Up! exactly? Well, it’s an audio based guessing game. Instead of drawing clues like other app games on the market you have to speak the clues. Players can choose easy to hard words and when you guess the word correctly you earn the said amount of mics. These mics can buy you hints when you can’t figure out the answer.
