2012 HGG – Phineas and Ferb Take Over etnies (Giveaway!)

As the number one animated television series among kids six to eleven years old, Disney’s Phineas and Ferb has entertained 460 million viewers all over the world. The series, which follows stepbrothers Phineas Flynn and Ferb Fetcher as they invent new adventures each day of their summer vacation, inspired a complete collection of etnies kids shoes for boys and girls that feature beloved characters Phineas, Ferb, Perry the Platypus (a.k.a. Agent P.), Dr. Doofenshmirtz, Candace and Isabella.

As part of my Holiday Gift Guide etnies sent Makenna the new Disney Kids Callicut 2.0 which is all about the girls of Phineas and Ferb, Candace and Isabella.

With glittery textiles in the heel and logo, bright pink highlights throughout the shoes and outlines of Candace and Isabella’s faces on the shoe tongues and upper heels, the Disney Kids Callicut 2.0 perfectly capture the girls’ feminine fashion.

Makenna is obsessed with Phineas and Ferb so when the shoes arrived she was over the moon. The plus was that they are covered in pink! I wore etnies when I was younger so that’s also something that Makenna loves because now she is just like her mommy.

The shoes have a padded tongue and collar, STI Foam Lite level 1 footbed and rubber outsole with internal EVA midsole for comfort. I believe the fit is a bit smaller than usual. Makenna normally wears a size 10 1/2-11 but we ordered a 12 to give her some room to grow but the 12 ended up fitting perfectly.

I would say this is a “strong” shoe and I feel like it will definitely hold up to everything my silly 2nd grader can throw at them.

These are her favorite shoes because she says they are super comfy and of course Candace and Isabella are on them.

I can’t wait to fill Makenna’s closet with more etnies because they are such amazingly made shoes. I “like” them on Facebook and Twitter so I can always catch updates of the new things they are coming out with.

etnies is happy to be in my gift guide and I am happy because they are giving away a pair of their Disney Phineas and Ferb collection shoes. Winner’s choice of shoe but they only come in size 10-7, no toddler sizes :(
