Why I Work With Brands.
As you may have noticed from visiting my blog is that I work with brands. Some big, some small.
Why? Because I think it’s fun and I enjoy writing about products I have tried, and working with brands to let them know what my readers want. Do I accept everything that comes into my email inbox? That’s the thing, I don’t.I turn down more than I accept. I don’t accept an offer from *Insert big brand name here* just because they are a major brand and everyone would know them but their products stinks, just because their pitch it great. I accept offers that I believe my readers would care about, offers about products I want to educate my readers on, and offers about products my family would use or want to try out.
I want to give you all my true, honest thoughts and opinion of products, places, and services that certain brands promote. I won’t ever give false information to you or knowingly lie about a product feature or the purpose of it. If I genuinely love a brand and product I will tell you, if it has flaws I’ll tell you that too.
Being a blogger I want to bring more more quality conversations about things that matter. That’s why I love working with BlogFrog. They get it. They understand the space that Blogging now takes up and that people don’t want to see ads on every page.
BlogFrog gets that my time is valuable and they give me a voice through natural and organic sponsored conversations. I don’t want you to know this is a sponsored conversation until you get to the bottom of a post and see the conversation box. That’s always my goal.
If I could talk to brands directly for a moment. I would like them to know that before contacting me I would like them to have all their ducks in a row. Know schedules, know budgets, be honest, communicate, ect. I have created many beneficial friendships and relationships with brand representatives. The one thing that keeps them growing is communication. I may just email one day to say “Hi” so I’m not forgotten about, or email to ask about the new baby they had. I look at these relationships as friendships and something I cherish so with any relationship communication on both parts is a must.
