Ah meal time. Stress comes to mind. Not every meal but I’m a busy mom and I can admit that I am more than guilty to giving in to the quickness of fast food. I’m busy running errands and the last thing I want to do is come home and cook lunch for the girls.
One thing I don’t like buying is frozen meals. They are filled with nasty ingredients that I can’t even pronounce and expensive. Why buy them?!
Well, I had no idea there were some better options out there. I went to my local Publix to try out these Kidfresh meals that promised to be a healthy frozen meal for kids.
While I was checking out the KidFresh website I learned a lot about the healthy options and that each meals has hidden veggies in them! Shhh…don’t tell the kiddos!
These guys teamed up with a pediatric nurse and top chef to create these healthy and yummy meals just for kids. Each meal contains no artificial flavors, colors, ingredients, or preservatives, and are minimally processed. Plus, each meal sneaks some veggies in!
Okay seriously this cannot be true, right? Will my kids love them though? “Sneaking” veggies in without kids noticing? I think not.
Kendall’s say? Well, she didn’t say much because she was busy stuffing her face with the Wagon Wheels Mac & Cheese. It has hidden carrots in it but Kendall loves carrots so I think it was a great combo for her.
Makenna? She loved the Easy Cheese Ravioli but I didn’t get a picture of her

We just had a Publix open up in our area around 3 weeks ago, so I’ll definitely try these. I have a picky eater, who I know does not get enough veggies. :/

I haven’t seen this in my local stores yet but I think they’d be a wonderful, healthy solution for my kids when hubs and I are busy or have a date night out planned!
I like the idea, but I am not so sure my kids would like these. They are pickey eaters like I used to be. It took me almost 30 years to open up my palate. Not to mention the fact that they can both read so they would know what’s in the food!
These are great and so healthy!
It’s nice to have a healthy alternative. I’m with you on frequenting the drive-through more often than I’d like. It’s just so darn convenient!

I love those kid fresh meals, we tried them last year and the macaroni especially tastes good!
