I may be a girl but I know a thing or two about superheroes and when it comes time that a movie comes out I am there at midnight releases with my husband. When The Amazing Spider-Man came out I had to stay home with the girls so to this day I have not seen it nor has Makenna.
So on a mission to Walmart we went!
Walmart and The Amazing Spider-Man have joined forces to bring a cool pre-order movie incentive. Just like you can pre-order a video game before it’s release date, you can go to your local Walmart store and pre-order The Amazing Spider-Man!
Supposedly there are two different sets you can purchase – the DVD or a mask gift set that includes the Blu-ray + DVD in a mask case. P.S. why is Avatar in the “New Release” area? lol
So pick up your “DVD” and check out as normal. Fast forward: Once we were home I opened the faux DVD case and found a paper-like DVD inside. This disc tells you the directions to obtain your actual Blu-ray + DVD mask gift set which will be mailed directly to your home. And yes, there is no charge for shipping.
Registering your DVD is easy. Create a VUDU.com account or login, then type your special code (listed on the fake disc. From there it will ask you to enter in your mailing address and that’s how it will be sent to your house in a few weeks.
Since I pre-ordered the DVD I can access behind the scenes, and stunt rehearsal stuff! How cool is that? And even better, even though the DVD doesn’t come out until November 7th, I will be able to watch the movie on October 30th!
