Pizza Party with Flatout #Flatoutpizza

With football season in full force I am always trying to find new ways to feed the hungry men that flood the house. I’ve talked about this topic before and I have a few more months to talk about it so I hope you stick by me while I find new ways to feed the masses.

This week I had a Create Your Own Fixins Pizza Bar. We used the new Flatout Thin Crust Artisan Flatbreads - Spicy Italian, Rustic White and Heritage Wheat. Not that the guys are really worried about healthy stuff when they are screaming at the football players but I like the fact that each Flatout Thin Crust Artisan Flatbread is an excellent form of Fiber, each piece has 7g of Protein, and are low in Fat.

I know everyone likes different pizza toppings so with the Create Your Own Fixins Bar idea I gathered lots of different toppings and let everyone create their own mini pizzas.

I cut each Flatout Thin Crust Flatbread in half so everyone could maybe try one bread flavor before becoming full.

We set up and let everyone have at it. With only 6 minutes to make a pizza everyone was loving the Flatout breads. So wait, just 6 minutes? Yep. You can bake the pizzas or even put them on the grill. If you choose the oven route like we did you need to set your oven to 350 degrees. Pre-bake the Flatbread for 2 minutes, take out and add your toppings, then bake an additional 4 minutes. That’s it! The pizzas come out crispy, hot and ready to be devoured!

My husband’s favorite bread? The Spicy Italian. Spicy is his middle name (actually his middle name is Charles but it might as well be Spicy. And he’s 100% Italian) so it is perfect. You can definitely see that Flatout didn’t skimp on the “spicyness” at all. WAY too spicy for me but the hubby said it was awesome. With his Spicy Italian bread in hand he then added pepperoni, sausage crumbles, and banana peppers!

I am a huge fan of pizzas with (almost) everything on them so I used the Rustic White bread and then added onions, mushrooms, red and yellow peppers, and pepperoni.

I was so surprised everything melted together in just 4 short minutes. Every topping was hot and the melted cheese made it that much better.

As an official Flatout Blogger I hope you enjoyed my pizza party idea and if you come back in a few days I’ll have a sweet giveaway you definitely wont want to miss (hint: It involved money!)

Disclosure: Flatout and TheMotherhood asked me to be a Flatout Blogger and recipe creator. I received compensated for my time. All opinions are my very own.

  3. As someone who lives with a son who has a distinctly different palate, this would be a good option. He can put what he wants on his, and me on mine. And we already like and use Flat Out bread.
