To say that my family is addicted to Marvel’s The Avengers is maybe just a tad bit of an understatement. Back when the movie came out in theaters my husband I went to a screening a couple of weeks before the movie came out and I was all decked out and ready to show my Avengers love.

Now that The Avengers Blu-Ray/DVD Release is just a week away we had to go through our DVD collection and watch the other Marvel’s movies like Iron Man (1 and 2), Captain America, and Thor. Of course you can’t watch a movie without snacks so we went off to Walmart.

I was so surprised when I got there to find Walmart covered in fun special Avengers signage. I quickly downloaded an app on my iPhone called Avengers Augmented Reality App. 

I took a look at the map below to find out where the special tripper points would be then we went on the search.

Pretty much you use the app while walking through Walmart and you will hit trigger points on certain signage. Since we were here for movie snacks we shopped in the grocery section and looking for a MarketSide Pizza in the deli area we hit a trigger point! My husband was then on a mission to get all the trigger points so he could watch what happens and find out the Which Avenger Quiz answers. As you can see I ended up being Black Widow!

One thing I wasn’t expecting but was really cool was the special features on the pizza boxes! Find a pizza box with one of the Avenger’s on it, open up your app and hold it over the pizza box -
How cool is that?? It makes a pop-up 3D world right on the pizza box. You can see bombs exploding and laser time gun blasts flying across the screen too but I didn’t manage to catch those in a picture.
