Kids are back in school and now it’s time to get back into a routine. No more cooking dinner late and staying up past their bedtime, no, it’s time for homework, dinner, showers, and bed. A routine my daughter hates but she’s gotta do it.
Sometimes, though, a routine can be broken and that’s what we love to go to Chuck E. Cheese!
But wait, it’s not Makenna nor Kendall’s birthday, right? That’s the amazing thing about Chuck E. Cheese – you don’t need to visit on a birthday or special weekend.
Families don’t realize how calm and enjoyable of an experience it can be if you attend on a Tuesday or Wednesday afternoon/evening after school or early in the mornings before lunch time. Our stores open at 10 a.m., and one treat I’ve heard that’s really popular is ordering the Apple Dessert Pizza or Cinnamon Sticks for breakfast!
Since school has officially begun in our house we like to give Makenna some incentives for good grades and doing her chores. Homework Helper rewards calendar helps them earn 10 free tokens to play games with for completing their homework every day for two weeks. Just print it off, fill it out and bring it in! Additionally, our Tokens for Grades program rewards their efforts each grading period throughout the year.
As a whole family we always love going to Chuck E. Cheese to play the games and enjoy the new and improved pizza!

We love chuck e cheese anytime but esp. When it is either too hot,too cold or rainy. Everyone loves the games and best part is that everyone usually rests good afterwards which is huge at our house since no one take naps anymore!
