Anyone else realize Christmas is just around the corner? I already began shopping for the girls months ago but I haven’t really thought about what I want.
Mom’s deserve gifts too, don’t we? I’m not really sure what I want though. Maybe a baby? Haha, yeah I don’t know. I always feel weird about getting things for Christmas or my Birthday, or anything in general. I feel bad because that money could go to the girls. I also don’t like that my husband goes and spends money since it’s all coming from the same account so again it’s like I’m spending money on myself.
So now I am thinking should I make a list for my husband? Do you make a list for your hubby to follow?
I was thinking just one gift would be great and something like a personalized necklaces would be special.
I found this necklace and thought it was amazing. Funny that it has my name on it but I’d have Makenna and Kendall put on it with their birthstones.
So how do go about getting gift for Christmas? Do you welcome all the gifts like you are 5 years old or are you hesitant about receiving gifts like I am?

I have my boys Christmas gift bought and I am working on my niece and nephews right now:) I am not a fan of shopping in a busy mall in December with 2 small children so I like to be done early. My hubby and I don’t usually buy much for eachother, usually just something small that will be used and appreciated:) We would rather take that money and use it to go out for a nice meal or something like that.

For christmas favors to loved ones last year I found a web site that does personalized stocking or photo ornaments where they take a picture of you or your family, or like I did a picture of your dogs

I started my Christmas shopping in February;) so I have finished a few peoples gifts ( maybe 6) they are all wrapped and ready:) I guess in very excited this year since it will be my first with my new little girl:)

It’s never to early for Christmas shopping! I try to buy things as I see them throughout the year so I’m not hit as hard in December. There are so many birthdays and Christmas all in the same month, I’d be broke otherwise.

I already have most of the neices and nephews gifts that I picked up on clearance after the holidays last year. Still debating what to get the parents (probably some local wine and some kind of wine accessory like making wine charms or something). My daughter will be almost 2 this year so I’m planning to pick up some things during back to school time for cheap for arts and crafts when she’s a little older, plus, her birthday is in January.
I too feel strange about getting Christmas gifts for myself. Hubby pretty much buys whatever he wants for himself, but I’d rather spend money on the kids or bills than myself. For Christmas we travel to see family and that is usually our big gift for the family. Airfare is expensive for a family of 5.
