Last week I told you about Oxygen’s new show called I’m Having Their Baby. It premieres tonight (July 23rd, 2012) at 11/10c and I’ve love for you to watch, comment here and let me know what you liked/didn’t like about the show and if you have time participate in the Live Chat where there will be some great support for you.
“I’m Having Their Baby” is a deep and emotional six-part docu-series that reveals the story that often goes untold – that of young, pregnant women as they struggle to go through with the most difficult decision of their lives, whether or not to place their babies for adoption. These would-be moms want a brighter future for their unborn child as well as better life for themselves, but face a mountain of inner turmoil as they search for potential adoptive parents as well as make their birth and transfer plans.
“I’m Having Their Baby shows an honest portrayal of women who are in the midst of dealing with the most difficult decision of their lives,” Oxygen Media’s Rod Aissa says in a release.
In the first episode of I’m Having their Baby, we’ll meet Mary, 25, whose affair led to pregnancy, and now she must choose between her marriage and being a single parent. We’ll also meet Claudia, whose unplanned pregnancy occurred after dating a boyfriend for just a month.
These cameras are allowing us to follow the emotional adoption process, through the eyes of the prospective parents. But getting an inside look at the experience of the birth mother who has made the decision to place her baby for adoption? That’s something we rarely see.
I hope you’ll join me tonight in watching the premiere of I’m Having Their Baby and joining the Oxygen Live Chat.

Sounds like a very interesting show – too bad I missed it
I missed the premiere. I’ll have to check for re-runs.
I watched the episode already and I absolutely loved it. I believe both women made the right choices for their babies. I think adoption is one of the hardest things ever and am so thankful that women choose to give up their babies so they can have a better life.
It sounds like an interesting show that will offer an important perspective on the adoption process.
After watching the first episode already, I think it’s a show that shows both sides of the adoption story. It’s a total tearjerker for sure.
how did you already see it Crystal?
It’s already live on the website.
Oh… Well then lol.
This sounds like something worth watching as long as it doesn’t make me cry too much!
