Last night was the 29th anniversary of the Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament show in Orlando! For their anniversary they premiered their all new dinner show. The first new show in more than 4 years!
The night started with a cocktail reception where my step-mom and Makenna enjoyed their virgin strawberry Daiquiris and I had my Pepsi in a horse shaped cup. Pure awesome I tell you.
It was almost time to go into the arena but we happened to spot our green knight so we had to get a picture with him.
In addition to a new story, the production includes new lighting, choreography and battle scenes, costumes, new horse dressage elements, and a new musical score custom created for Medieval Times and recorded in Kiev, Ukraine.
We had the VIP treatment so we sat front row to see all the action. After each “battle” the knights were given flowers to throw our into the crowd. Makenna was sad because she didn’t get a flower from our knight.

So in the end the Red/Yellow Knight won but he was on the West side so we still won in the end!

Who needs a flower when you are given something even better! The green knight gave Makenna the best award of the night!! She got the honorary Queen of Love & Beauty sash!
And she got the knight to sign her sash after the show!
We had the best time last night and I cannot say enough good things about Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament Show. Actually, I can’t say anything because I was screaming and cheering so much that I lost my voice.
I highly recommend everyone to make a stop at Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament when you are in Orlando. Your family will have an amazing time, and eat some delicious food (without utensils)!

I’d love to take my kids to a place like this.
How fun! They don’t have one out here but I’m TOTALLY going next time I’m visiting my family in Chicago!
I have never been. But we are going to try the one in Orlando later this year.
Love that they have a new show! We loved it when we went last summer.
Looks like a show my kids would love!!!!
Can you believe I lived in Chicagoland for 5 years and never made it to Medieval Times?
That looks like a lot of fun! Now I want to go!
I seen one of these shows in the LA area many years ago. It was really fun.
My kids have been begging to go to one of these shows lately. We should check the new one out!
Sounds fun! I would love to bring the family.
i have always wanted to attend one of these!
Great pics and it looks like you all had fun.
I love Medieval times! I haven’t been there in years…
I’ve never been but it looks really fun!
I LOVE Medieval Times. It’s the best dinner show experience I’ve had!
Looks very fun!
We went five years ago, but I want to go again!
if you’ve been five years ago then you must come again. Now with the all new show your experience won’t be the same at all. Lighting, staging, choreography, story line, food… everything has been changed.
I’ve never been to Medieval Times, looks really fun, though! Great pictures!
We love visiting Medeval Times when we are in Orlando! Great review!
It’s been years since we attended mid-evil times event. I think it was the food that chased me off but the show was always wonderful how fun you got to get photos with the actors
I’ve never been to this show. Next time I’m in Florida I want to go see it.
I love everything medievil time!
I am so jealous. Ever since I was a child I have wanted to go to Medieval Times. The one in California is only about 7 to 8 hours away, so maybe one day!
Oh man, I wanna go!! How was the food?!
food was actually really good. They redid their whole menu too. You get garlic bread, a HUGE piece of baked chicken (the seasoning was a little spicy for my taste), a huge rib, seasoned potato wedges, and an apple turnover.
They also have a Vegetarian option available too.
Nate and the boys love this place! We’ll have to check out the new show!
I wish I had seen the old show to compare it to. Charles didn’t go but seeing my pictures and videos he said it’s completely different and looks a lot better now.
Great Post Jenn!!! I’m sooo glad you and Makenna had such a great time. When I bring the girls up for Emma birthday we should take them. My girls would LOVE it.
Yes! I’d love to join you there! It was awesome
