Dr. Lucy’s Gluten Free Cookies – review and giveaway!

As you may have seen in the past I’ve tried some gluten-free foods and posted about them here. We aren’t a family that has to have anything that is gluten-free but honestly most of the things we’ve tasted isn’t that bad so why not try new things and be a little healthier at the same time.

I was recently sent the complete line of Dr. Lucy’s cookies and I must say, the family fell in love instantly. I didn’t tell anyone (well the girls don’t know the difference so really, I didn’t tell my husband) that they were gluten-free and they could not stop eating them!

I can tell you that I’m not much of a crunchy cookie lover so at first I didn’t think I would like them for that sole reason.  But after tasting the Maple Bliss I was hooked. You can definitely taste the maple (organic by the way!) sweetness but it’s not over the top. It’s that perfect hint you want.

At just about 120 calories and 4.5g of fat these totally guilt-free vegan, all natural, no peanuts, tree nuts, milk, or eggs cookies are the way to go!

I think these would be great to bring to my daughter’s school for a snack day or even on her birthday. Her school has a strict rule that things have to be store-bought but even still some kids can’t eat the cupcakes I bring in because of allergies. With these allergy-friendly cookies all the kids in her class would be able to enjoy a delicious treat without the worry!

Without any hesitation I can tell you that we loved every last one of the varieties but my husband and daughters favorite…

Definitely the chocolate chip! My favorite is still he Maple Bliss hands down!

Are you ready to taste these Dr. Lucy’s cookies yet? You can order them online OR they are sold in lots of different retail stores like Whole Foods, Albertson’s, Costo, and Winn Dixie! Check out the full list right here.

You can also WIN Dr. Lucy’s three newest flavors which are the Ginger Snap, Maple Bliss, and Chocolate! So enter below!

with 3 celiacs it is so hard to find out of the ordinary flavors: oatmeal, cinnamon thin, and sugar would be awesome especially if I don’t have to bake them

  3. Definitely most excited to try the Ginger flavor! They all sound pretty dang delicious, though!
