Buy & Fly with Cost Plus World Market

Shopping! My dream word. I go shopping when I’m stressed, upset, sad and of course happy. I love shopping so when Cost Plus World Market asked me to come on a little shopping spree I of course, said yes. I soon found out I was in for a treat because World Market is having a great promo this month that when you spend $20 or more you get 15% off a Southwest Airlines flight (From June 16-July 13)! I haven’t bought my BlogHer12 ticket yet so it was perfect timing.

I spent so long just taking in all that World Market has to offer and the girls had a blast checking out all the cool kitchen gadgets they found. You can find food, furniture, baking dishes, serving dishes, plates, cups, home decor, and so much more! I was on a mission though, to find items that my family could enjoy when we have a little staycation.

My main targets: serving plates, BBQ grill accessories, a decorative center piece, and maybe a couple baking dishes.

I just got home from a 3 day vacation away from my family so now the focus is on my family. I figured with Summer just starting I’d get some nice serving plates and things my husband would love to use when he’s grilling out. It was easy to get lost in all the aisles of great products like these cute cooking timers and tiny flower shaped collenders!

I was able to find so many awesome things for our staycation and knew that I went way past the $20 requirement to get myself a 15% off coupon for Southwest! Most of the items I purchased were no more than $4.99 and that was including plates, bowls, meat thermometer, and much more.

Notice that heart and butterfly thing? Those are pancake and egg molds! Makenna found them and they are just so great so we grabbed them. Perfect if we envision our staycation starting right from the moment we wake up.

So I didn’t buy the food/ingredients for my bars at World Market but I did find this plate and cute wicker tray that I used as the center piece on our table when serving my Chocolate, Peanut Butter, & Pretzel Bars. The plate was $2.99 and the tray was $3.99!

I also found out that World Market is holding a Summer Getaway sweepstakes and each week they are giving away a trip for 4 anywhere Southwest flies, including hotel accommodations and a $500 World Market gift card! Doesn’t that sound just amazing? To find out more about the giveaway go to the World Market Facebook page and click on the Summer Getaway tab near the top. You can also find out more about World Market if you check out their Twitter page.
