This past Saturday I had the pleasure of attending a great outdoor event hosted by Banana Boat.
Summer is officially in full swing and with the crazy hot weather you might be wondering what you and your kids can do to stay busy but also stay safe. Parents can go on the Facebook page (www.facebook.com/bananaboatbrand) and commit to the 101 Days of Summer Play
Banana Boat just released a new product called Natural Reflect.
Natural Reflect by Banana Boat “is 100% naturally sourced mineral sunscreen, active with Zinc Oxide, deflects UVA and UVB rays and is ideal for sensitive and delicate skin.” and recommended by The Skin Cancer Foundation! There is an original formula, a kids, and a baby. I looked at the ingredients and they all seem to have the same things in them (and are all SPF 50) so I’m not quite sure what the difference between the 3 of them are to be honest.
At the event our families were able to use the new Banana Boat Natural Reflect products and play lots of family friendly games (testing out the product of course).
It was so fun to bug hunt, making pinwheels, hula hoop, and do lots of other games with our kids.
At the end of the day we were all beat tired but not beat red. The sunscreen worked great and did its job!

Sun protection is so important. Love the high SPF.
I bought some of the Banana Boat Natural Reflect sunscreen for babies to put in my diaper bag. The sun is so intense in Texas that I don’t ever want to risk my baby (or older daughter) accidentally getting burned.
I like that they offer a baby one since baby boy is allergic to adult sunscreen.
My son got his first sunburn on his shoulders last week, while he was with my Dad swimming. I so wish they had some Banana Boat with them. :/
