Couponing For Good #CBias #AllYouCFK

As you may know I have worked with Champions For Kids for the past few months and this month we are doing yet another campaign. In the past we have donated a Christmas stocking filled with Disney items, we helped feed children with Abbott Nutrition, and now I will be donating a hand full of fun items while saving money with coupons!

I was sent out to grab the All You magazine because not only does it have great recipes, and crafts but this month it had almost $80 in coupons! With those coupons I planned to shop at Walmart to get some goodies for some kids in need at my local charity. The theme of the #AllYouCFK SIMPLE service project is Couponing For Good so I definitely planned on using as many coupons as I could.

On a daily basis I try to use coupons when I go out shopping whether it be for dining out, grocery shopping, clothes, or pretty much anything. For my shopping trip to Walmart I grabbed some coupons I already had at home then me and Makenna went on our way.
We didn’t have too many set things in mind that we wanted to donate but Makenna made a point to say that she wanted to give the kids crayons so that was one of our first stops. I love that she is so huge into donating and charity as of December. Makes me so proud. I also had to grab the new edition of All You because it has almost $80 in coupons this month!! With all these coupons I will definitely be able to find some amazing prices for our donation basket and for some household items that we need.
Today we went shopping (check out our Google+ Story) but now it’s time to find the perfect place to donate everything to. I want to donate to a charity that I haven’t given to yet so I think that’ll take another blog post to talk about.

Remember that you too can participate in this SIMPLE Service Project by heading to Champions For Kids and checking out the steps you can take to make a child a little happier.
If you’d like you can ask any questions you may have on the Champions For Kids Twitter page and their Facebook page.
